I used to work in politics, but now I’m finding a new way in life. My emails were hacked, my private life was put on display for the world to see and false labels were applied to me. I lost the career I’d spent years building.

I started off in politics running digital strategy and social media for the Labour Party. Then I became a ‘right-wing Labour demagogue, the most right-wing member of the Labour Party’ (that’s quoted from a Labour MP), then I joined the Tories, then I started a digital dot-com with a former ‘Blonde Bombshell’ Tory MP (menshn//).

I’ve found myself with a weird sort of ‘fame’ created by the new digital world in which we live. A creation of social media, my (old) life was destroyed by the same tools that I used to make my name in the first place. A thoroughly modern tale. Perhaps I’m just a figment of your digital imagination.

I’m a recovering sex addict, and have just written a book on sex addiction. Don’t Bite the Apple will be out in the first half of 2013.

I write pretty much full-time, and am currently working on ‘Damian Gold’, a male 50 Shades of Gray (first four chapters are here) and my first novel. My first attempt at short fiction, Athena, is here.

When not thinking too much, I like a martini, meat and wine (both of the red kind). I devour modern and classic literature. I’m a hip-hop fanatic.
